I’m Sam and I’m super passionate in amplifying the voices of mental ill health lived experience and living experience of neurodiversity.
I am so excited to provide employers with psychosocial education through a completely honest lens of someone who navigated employment and mental health challenges for 20 years. I’ve finally found what works for not only me but for who I work for too and I’m living proof of what decent management can do - keep your employees employed, thriving and engaged.
I graduated from University of wales Aberystwyth with a bachelor with honours in English literature. I worked in call centres, recruitment and business development for twelve happy years until my mental health condition saw me in over 25 hospital admissions and I now work as a lived experience mentor in youth homelessness.
I’ve found my passion by working with those struggling to function after spiralling through the system.
I am able to provide:
-
Educational workshops and consulting for organisations on how to work with employees struggling with mental ill health.
-
Peer support to employees struggling with mental health.
-
Coffee chats, meet ups and sharing of tools.
